Image of the Day: Wedding in Little Italy, San Diego
During the ceremony I was able to get some shots from the balcony at the very back of the Church. I was pleasantly surprised by the reach of the 100mm on the lovely couple.

I saw this from the article replies I was reading on DPS. I think I saw some of your others on Image of the Day: Fernandez wedding photos, those ones did work with the whole being larger thing. But I strongly believe this photo isn’t working, having a back show is showing them wide, and there for you notice that they are larger. The other ones were more artistic and weren’t straight forward pictures, and therefore you didn’t notice the people were large. Here it looks more like a snap shot. It does appear to be a beautiful place but it looks like someone in the audience just took a picture from sitting down. It didn’t appear to have as much work put into it as the others. I’m not “haten” on your photo, I’m just giving my opinion. Since I have seen your others, you are talented. I just don’t think this one worked. If you write a comment after this, about what I said I would gladly come back and read it. As I would love if someone did for me, but I don’t put my photos on the Internet. To afraid someone will copy them.
Sincerely
Madison Raine

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to critique the images. I totally agree with the comments of the couple in the church – it was an HDR shot and it is rather unflattering to the Bride. It should probably be put in the category of How Not To. We are continuously evolving our skills, and we truly appreciate your feedback!

Yup – not the best of images – you should see her after she lost 60 lbs!
