This is an image from a ship when leaving the stunning Milford Sound. The trailing ship gives scale to this spectacular vista. This is not the classical shot of Milford Sound and I know it looks like a “Tourist Shot” but what the heck! This place is amazing!
Milford Sound is a fjord in the south-west of New Zealand’s South Island, within Fiordland National Park. It has been judged the world’s top travel destination in an international survey (The 2008 Travelers’ Choice Destinations Awards by TripAdvisor) and is acclaimed as New Zealand’s most famous tourist destination.
