Morning Image: Arches of Barberini, Rome

This a night shot taken at the Barberini Museum during a pouring rain storm. The Barberini Family was very influential within Rome’s political and art communities, as one can see their family symbol, the honey bee, almost everywhere… from the street corner fountains to The Vatican. I love the symmetry of the arches and features in this 3 shot HDR – again very long exposures due to low available light.
