Image of the Day: Library Courtyard, Rome

On the way back from Piazza Navona, known for its Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, a fountain designed by Bernini, we found this hidden Library behind a heavy gateway. I was struck by the beautiful and simple symmtery of the courtyard and how well preserved it was. This is a 3 shot HDR with a 10mm lens, Nikon D90. I like the perspective distortion in this capture.  more at http://www.kerstenbeck.com
