The Corvette River

We were invited Guests to by the P-Town Pushrods to photograph and enjoy this amazing exhibition of automotive passion in Pleasanton California. It was a sight to see. We arrived at 6:30AM to get early light and stayed until 10 PM to witness an amazing fireworks exhibition. This shot was of the tail section of an immaculate black Corvette. It seems as if the emblem is actually floating in a river – a tribute to the amazing paint work on this fine car.

The Goodguys “silver anniversary” 25th West Coast Rod & Custom Nationals is the west’s largest automotive event featuring over 3,500 classic cars, hot rods and customs through 1972 vintage. More than just a car show, hundreds of vendor exhibits will be featured as well as an automotive swap meet and cars for sale corral, live entertainment with “Night Shift”, the crowing of America’s Most Beautiful Street Rod, how-to-seminars and more! The Bay Area Engine Modelers Association will hold their Western Engine Model Exhibit featuring miniature scale engines from over 50 skilled craftsmen throughout the world. Saturday night, August 27th, Goodguys will hold a Saturday night gala featuring live music, trivia contests, special awards, “Nitro Thunderfest” dragsters as well as a spectacular fireworks exhibit the whole city of Pleasanton can enjoy. www.kerstenbeck.com
